...do you want to do my german cwk, while I do the typing test?! Do you wanna do my French AS homework instead? I'm sure that'd be a fair swap for me, even though I can't do German...

If you think that's stupid, in lower 6th i took on AS french and German and GCSE spanish! I dropped spanish at the start of upper 6th, I wasn't putting enough work in coz I didn't have enough time. I still do french and german for A2 though!

French AS BBIIIGGG problem - esp. the listening... What about the essays? Unless your grammar's solid that's quite hard too.! In our AS french, we had something about reading in France, and Harry Potter got mentioned! Also something about fishermen in another extract? Dunno what that was about!

Essays are fine, just use one of those dictionaries that has a grammar section @ the back. Fishermen? Harry Potter? Well, I suppose it would be too easy if it said: "Le sport le plus populaire en France, c'est le foot..." etc...actually, I've got my Yr10 mocks coming up so I'd better start revising...

You're in year 10 and doing AS French?! We weren't allowed dictionaries in our essay exam, you had to memorise a lot of facts about the media in France and the EU, and go into an exam and answer questions on them. So now i know lots of random stuff like "17,5% of french people listen to the radio for approximately half an hour a day" and how many nuclear power stations there are in germany!

Yes, I am doing AS in year 10. And there's an essay EXAM? Well, that's a differnet matter. I didn't know about that...Mme Monro is gonna get a yelling at...still, I find writing and reading easier than speaking and listening, so essays aren't a problem really...

That's with the AQA board, although there is a coursework option I think? But if you do the cwk option for AS you can't do it for A2? I dunno, but I'll check it out if you want!
