Eich bin ein Hosenbugler! (I am a trouserpress) lol I'm gonna have to use that one in my exam! "What do you think is the most concerning political problem in germany at the moment?" "Ich weiss nicht. Ich bin ein Hosenbugler!" I've got french speaking this week and german speaking next week! Arghhh!

A bilingual french/english girl did her GCSE one a year early, and is really paranoid that she talked about the wrong thing on her roleplay! The stimulus said "say you've lost something" so she said "J'ai perdu ma parapluie". Then she had a dream that it actually said "say you've lost your purse" and now she's panicking!
She'll pass though!

I found a german man to talk to, and told him how many power stations there were in germany (in german) I couldn't say much else to him, but I told him how much energy germany will need when they're gone!
Basically, I didn't learn much in A level german!

probably coz she didn't answer the questions properly. Apparently it happens a lot with bilingual/native speakers, and even though they don't need to be taught the language, they need to learn how to write to answer the question, and to get their grammar up to scratch!

I don't think she used the GCSE syllabus French. BTW, you can get a B in French by speaking Franglais! I don't know how my friend gt away with it!

Yeah, I had a friend who spoke french with an italian accent and said stuff like "layer d'ozone" in her aural and still got a C!
At least they're in different weeks! They messed the timetabling up first time round anyway, coz next week I was supposed to be doing my german aural, and doing a music A2 performance 20 miles away at the same time!
