I am only addicted because I but a book for bassoon, when I buy a book for flute and then maybe a theory or a piano book! So, I go in the shop for one book but come out with 3.

Well, the thing is that I see all this music I like but never have enough money to buy it all!

I would be if I could afford to! I buy most of my music online, coz there isn't really a very good music shop for sheet music, around here, which has lots of choice.

I would be addicted to buying music if I won the lottery - but I tend to borrow it off of other people and photocopy it instead...alot cheaper!

Yes, there are some sites where you can print flute music off, and I have printed out so much from there! Flute music is really expensive, especially when buying for grades, you have to buy 3 books, which are usually £10 each!

Yes, and for my Grade 8 when I do it, I'll probably need an accompanist, so £50 for that, say £30 for music and a £60 exam fee!!

I think that there should be accompianists hired by the board who specifically learn the accompanying piece - maybe bump the exam price up a bit to compensate, but that way you'd have quality accompianists that have been briefed by the board and you wouldn't have to search out and pay for someone else...

Well usually either my flute teacher or ex piano teacher accompanies me, but I don't think they'll be able to for grade 8.
