My friend got 6 pairs of socks stuck down the bell of her tuba, coz her mum got fed up of her not putting her socks away, so put them in her case!!! Our brass group teacher had to stick his arm up the bell to get them out! Lol. I know someone who took their cello on a flight and used clothes as extra padding Sorry a bit off topic...

OK then, back on task, a bit at least - how many Smarties could you fit in a french horn, of you poured them all in? Or a tuba? do it the practical way but my guesses are: french horn - 1500 tuba - a lot, dunno but maybe... a lot... 10000

I know how we can find out how many smarties you can fit into a euphonium... ... ... ... I don't think the owner would be happy

It'd be kinda weird if you strated playing and smarties started flying out the bell...

Not as many coz it's got lots of holes for them to come out of! (or are the holes voered by metal bits?!)

Not as many coz it's got lots of holes for them to come out of! (or are the holes voered by metal bits?!) They are too small for a smartie/skittle to fit through I think... This is my 300 post!!! I get another star!

well, i know all the theory behind brass instruments, ie, if you gave me a trumpet or a trombone, i would be able to play a scale, which would tone wise, sound crap, but it would be the right notes.

I think you could fit more smarties/skittles in a double bass than most things!

or a piano...actually, a regular 4 year old could probably eat more than that!
