I think it because sometimes I practice and my posture is appalling! Or I have done a lot of revision and then a long stint of flute practice!

I would practice 1 - 1.5 hours a day, but GCSE's approaching meant i've bascailly stopped altogeather apart from the odd fiddle on the violin.

Yes, definitely. I don't really touch my flute anymore because of revision. I still love it though just don't have the time. The other bad thing, I also feel inspired to play it just as people are going to bed, so I have to stop practicing!

If I'm supposed to be revising for something important like English, I put my bassoon in a cupboard or something so I forget about it. But when I'm revising something "important", such as...PE Theory...

They gave us study leave for year 10 exams which was pretty pointless seeing as there wasn't much studying to do! Oh well, it gave me time to finish my composition (which was meant to be in a week earlier!)

Well, I have finished my exams now, so I'll be on a lot of the time! Suppose I better get out of my pyjamas before I start practicing!

I believe you CAN only practise for so many hours until any more would achieve nothing. You get saturated. 2 or 3 hours a day is ample for grade 8, and any more may even do more harm than good. I got distinction so it obviously worked.
